Once again, TRPA has upgraded our online file search function! TRPA will soon integrate its new permitting software, (Accela), with a Citizen Access portal so that you can access more information that is updated in real time. Please stay posted to our (Press Room) as we continue our commitment to enhancing customer service.
Once you find the information you are looking for through the search engines below, you can email a request to view the files at our office. Send an email to (filerequest@trpa.org)
Be sure to include the Assessor's Parcel Number, any associated file numbers, how we can contact you to let you know when the files are ready to view at our office. Some of our files have been scanned into an electronic format. If electronic versions of documents are available, the file technician will let you know and ask if you would like to receive them by email.

There are three parcel databases to use:
(Parcel/Permit Search)
Use this database to access past or active TRPA files, assessments and permits for a specific property
(IPES Score)
The Individual Parcel Evaluation System (IPES) database contains parcel specific land capability information for properties that are currently vacant or that were still vacant as of 1987.
(BMP Evaluation/Certificate)
The BMP database contains information about the Best Management Practices (BMPs) program for erosion and stormwater control. BMPs are required on all properties in the Tahoe Basin.
For general information about BMPs, click here.
There is also Bike Trail Public Map Viewer:
(Bike Trails Public Map Viewer)
This public map viewer shows the relation of parcels to existing and proposed bicycle and pedestrian paths, lanes, and routes.
