TRPA is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (TMPO) for the Lake Tahoe Basin and in the State of California TRPA is the designated Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA). This web page is designed to provide general information about the TRPA Transportation Division as well as to provide public access to many of the major plans, programs and studies that the Agency is responsible for producing.

2010 Lake Tahoe Region Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan Draft.The Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan is guide for planning, constructing and maintaining a regional bicycle and pedestrian system. The 2010 Lake Tahoe Region Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan Draft is available for public comment from June 11 – July 26, 2010.

Mobility 2030 -- Lake Tahoe Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). TMPO’s Regional Transportation Plan is a long range plan, or vision, that identifies short, medium, and long term transportation projects for the Tahoe Basin.

Lake Tahoe Transportation Overall Work Program 2009-2010 The OWP is an annual description of programs that the Transportation Division will undertake within the State Fiscal Year.

Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan (CHSP) The Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan (CHSP) is a strategy for public transportation service delivery that identifies the transportation needs of individuals with disabilities, older adults, and individuals with limited income.
